Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order ship?

Our shipping dates are the 1st, 10th, and 20th of the month. If this day falls on a weekend or holiday, we will ship the prior business day. Typically your initial order will ship in 1 or 2 business days, but please allow up to 10 days for your first order to ship.

Your subsequent shipments will be made as follows:

  • If your initial order was placed between the 1st and the 9th of the month, your shipments will be on the 1st of each month.
  • If your initial order was placed between the 10th and 19th of the month, your shipments will be on the 10th of each month.
  • If your initial order was placed between the 20th and the end of the month, your shipments will be on the 20th of each month, except if the current month's box is sold out, in which case your first order and all subsequent orders will ship on the 1st of each month.

For example: If you order on the 8th, your first order will ship by the 18th but then subsequent orders will ship on the 1st of each month. If you would like to adjust your shipping date, please contact us and we can move you to a different date.

Can I return my order?

What age are the boxes for?

Our boxes are designed with children between 3 and 6 in mind. That being said, we have subscribers whose children are as young as 2 to as old as 8 who also enjoy the activities. Older children can do it all on their own while younger children need more help from an adult. Also, depending on the age of the child, the results will look different; it is much more process and sensory oriented for a younger child, while older children are more product focused.

Are there enough supplies in a box for 2 children?

A regular box is designed to have enough supplies for one child and an adult to do together and share some of the supplies. Some projects will have plenty for 2 children while others will have enough only for one. In general, projects with canvases, embroidery loops, some science experiments will only have enough materials for one.

So if your children are OK with sharing, taking turns and working together, one box can be enough. Otherwise we recommend the boxes built for 2, 3, 4 or 5 children.
